The Junior Jive>

Last Friday, March 3, was a big day for all 3rd year students in CSA Biñan because that Friday was the day of our ballroom intersection competition.
Even in the wee hours of the morning my classmates and I were already doing reruns of our steps for the dance. As the rest of our classmates were flocking to the room, the whole of BARANGGAY NYX were beginning to talk about costumes, make-up, hair do, etc. And even if we seldom go out of the classroom due to practice, we all know that they too are in their "todo practice mode". Our section even had to wear our EXTREMELY high heels so that we can be used to it already.
The tension was starting too build up as the day goes by and before we knew it, we were already in our dancing clothes and we were waiting for our number to be called.
Of course we watched the other sections dance and naturally I watched THEIR section dance. It was so coincidental that he was positioned in front of me. He really was a good dancer. He knows how to move the hips very well. Before their number, I was dancing to the beat of the other group when he passed behind me and I accidentally stepped on him... How embarassing! Hahahahahahha!!!
When our time came, we danced to the beat of "Can't take My Eyes Off You" and "Why". I know that we all gave our very best thus landing in second place.
I was so addicted with dancing ballroom that I still can't take the music and that day out of my head. It trully was a very unforgettable and learning experience even if we had to wear the aching heels all day.

Prom Night, Best Night>

It's been a while since nagupdate ako dito sa blog ko.... Grabeh ang saya nung prom!!!!!!!!!! Hanggang ngayon hindi ko pa rin makalimutan... Best night ever!!!

Siyempre nung umaga nagpaayos ako sa Salon28. Galing nung nagmake up sakin at ganda ng ayos ng buhok... Curls siya sa baba tapos nakahalfpony. Then pagdating ko sa house nagbihis na ako. may crown nga pala ako sa ulo.. Ang theme kasi ng Prom e medieval royalty. Di siyempre yung gown medieval na ball gown ang hitsura. Sa Westin Philippine Plaza nga pala ginanap yun. Una, pagdating dun, pumunta muna kami ni mama sa kwarto nina Kuya Mat, yung isa kong katropa sa subdivision. Nagstay lang muna kami dun habang hinihintay ang 530 bago kami bumaba sa ballroom. Ang saya! E di pagdating dun hintay lang ng konti tapos entrance chuvaekness na. Partner ko si Kuya Mark sa entrance.

Pagstart nung program, nagstart si Kuya Mark as prayer. Kinakabahan na ako nun... Ang taas pa naman nung Lupang Hinirang.... Anyway after nagawa ko naman. Excitement na ang naramdaman ko... siyempre kasi ang daming nagsasabi na masaya daw ang Prom. Ayun diretso na sa turnover ceremony then kainan na!!! Chicken yung main course, pumpkin ang soup, choco truffles ang desert. Ok naman yung food. Di ko nga lang halos nakain yung truffles sa sobrang tamis. Meron nga rin palang bread and butter at ang SARAP!!!

After kainan, nagsimula na ang cotillion na parang hudyat ng start ng dance. Siyempre after cotillion, first dance ng last year's prom prince and princess. Ang unang song e, God Must Have Spent A Little More Time on You. Haba ang title ano?

Ang first dance ko naman e si kuya Patrick... 4th year yun... Nagulat nga ako e. Mukhang hinatak lang ni Miss Breis! Wahehhehe... Mukha yata akong kawawa kasi ako na lang natira sa table ko... Wahehehhe... Nagsayaw kami sa bandang huli ng God Must Have Spent tiaka sa buong Rainbow. Sunod naman si Kuya Joel, gulat din ako.. Wahehhe! tapos after sina:

Alvin, Alejandro, Elmer, Arturo, Miguel(last dance ko yan at pinakamahaba ko siyang kasayaw...)

At nakalimutan ko pa. Si Chuck din pala. Anak ni miss dee. Nagulat nga ako dun kasi ni hindi niya ako kilala pero sinayaw ako. Tapos rave pa ang music nun pero slow ang sayaw namin. la lang... Pasaway. Buti na lang nagchange yung music sa slow (Your Love by Alamid). Nahihiya na kasi ako...

Basta ang saya nung prom. Nagpapic din naman kami sa labas nung tropa ko sa school and KENDDIV.... Saya!! Grabe! May mga bago din ako nagin friends. Sina ate Melai at Kuya Gelo. Isa lang ang masasabi ko. May mga bagay na hindi mo akalaing mangyayari pero bigla na lang BAM! Anjan na't nangyayari sa harap mo. Minsan mas higit pa sa ineexpect mo ang pwedeng mangyari. Ayun... Basta masaya....

It has been a long time....>

I have many things to tell you guys!!!! Yesterday was September 13, 2005 and do you know what that means??? We have been officially together for four months already!!! I'm so happy.... I just hope that under the circumstances, we will still go throught this for a long time....

Anyway.... Last week has been a very exciting week for me... There were two competitions held in leiu of the St Nicholas Feast of which I am one of the contestants/participants. The first was the Singing Contest last Thursday, September 8 2005. Mom was there. I sang Shimei's song, A dream worth keeping.... I was abit nervous at first but when I got on stage, my nerves left me.... hehehehehehehe.... I sang comfortably and did my stage performance thing although i felt that my song was very softly sung... well which was true.:D I was so shocked when I was declared first! I didn't expect it! I thought I put my whole year in shame and disgrace..... But.... well... :D

Next is the cheering competition. We had been through a lot just for this competition, don't ask what. We all did our best and put on the biggest smile that we could muster on our faces. It's a good thing that we didn't forget any step... We thought that the seniors would be called champion but....

"The first runner up is................. the Senior year!!!!"
"The champions are the Juniors!"

I can't believe it! We didn't expect it!!! We were so overwhelmed at that time that we went to the center of the court and hugged each other.. The hard work was really worth it.

Intramurals was really super even though in the over-all games we lost to every one because we didn't send enough players. Hehheeheh!!!! Till next time guys!!! Mwah!!

Street/Glam Fun>

hi peeps!! Many things have happened... Well here goes the updates...

Last Friday was the end of the one-week celebration of Intramurals at our school. The main event that day was the quiz bee/game show called "Wow Ka Na Bee?". It involved a program including intermissions and all... Well I sang the invocation. The song was "The prayer" by Charlotte Church and Andrea Boccelli I think? Well Kuya Mike and Kuya Dean was there and they said I did very well although my partner... Well.. The only flaw according to them was that I intentionally cut off my breath at the last part... Why?? Don't wanna talk about it... After we went to the studio and Before my lesson, we spent time together first because we thought we won't be able to be with each other long since he would not be able to sleep in the studio. But it's a good thing that he was allowed at the last minute. Lessons were fine and to top it all off Randy treated us all to dinner at Tuding's Porkchop. Thanks to Randy!!!! After that we went back to the kubo and things went on very well.... üü

Last Saturday, I attended the fashion show with my friends in the evening. I was with Seng, Chir, Kuya Dean, Kuya Mike, Randy, Kuya Don and Marvz. We went together by the way. Before going we ate pizza first at the studio. When we got there we waitied at the lobby since guests were not yet admitted inside the gym... I saw my classmates standing together in the lobby. They called me and of course I said hi and left my date and my friends for a while.. they asked me if the person standing nect to me was my boyfriend and I said yes.. Well now they know him...

When we were admitted inside, I felt the cold penetrate even my veins. It was totally cold! Well we ended up staying downstairs instead of up because the guard says, we're not allowed to stay there. Probably because our dear father principal is worried that some couples might work miracles with him not watching. Haha! As if. Anyway we waited for so long before the show started. The fashion lines included were Mossimo, Cinderella and many, many more. Althrough out the event, we were close to each other because... IT WAS SO COLD!! As the time passed and the night creeped deeper, it grew colder. And coz i cant take the cold anymore, inakap ko cia.. It was really very cold! He also drew me close to him... I felt very protected in his arms at that moment.

After how many minutes mom texted me telling me to go home. I went home feeling very happy about everything around me...ü
